Safety Standards

At Pentair Thermal Management, safety is seen as a corporate value. We are recognized as an industry leader in safety standards and performance because we consistently challenge the norm through safety innovations including training and motivational programs. Our safety statistics are consistently better than that of the average Construction Industry Institute (CII) company member—which are often considered to be the best in the industry.

Safety Program Principle Commitments
  • Management Commitment - Pentair Thermal Management holds all levels of management accountable for the implementation of our principles of safe work performance.
  • Safety Goal Setting - Pentair Thermal Management firmly believes in the goal of Journey to Zero.
  • Employee Participation - Employees at all levels are encouraged and expected to participate in “their” safety program from their first day on the job.
  • Safety Training - Employee safety training is the first activity a new employee undertakes; and continual safety training occurs throughout each employee’s career with Pentair Thermal Management.
  • Safety Inspections - Pentair Thermal Management requires that every job site receives a documented inspection at least once a week by supervision and follow-up inspections are made by management and safety professionals.

We are committed to Journey to Zero worldwide and are guided by an established incident prevention policy. This policy is based on our dedication and sincere desire to eliminate personal injuries, occupational illness, and damage to equipment, as well as to protect the general public around the world who may be affected by our company's activities.

Our Environmental Health and Safety program serves as our guideline for managing workplace safety. The program includes OSHA required topics such as:

  • Electrical safety, fall protection, respiratory protection, hazard communication,  hearing conservation, confined space entry and lock out/tag out safety responsibilities, accident investigation, back safety, fire protection, material handling, housekeeping, ladders and scaffolds, motor vehicles and mobile equipment, and office safety.

A sound and dedicated safety program results in lower costs to a project or operation.
