Pentair Thermal Management Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) program encompasses best practices for our engineering and design, manufacturing, pre-assembly and heat trace installation programs. Our QA/QC program ensures that the highest degree of quality is incorporated into all our products, services and systems.

Engineering and Design

Pentair Thermal Management designs your Heat Management System (HMS) using in-house design tools and databases. These tools standardize the engineering and design process to ensure that designs are optimized and reviewed to insure that they meet or exceed the customer's expectations. Our design databases facilitate the tracking of drawing revisions. If the customer revises incoming documents, our tools and databases determine which heat tracing designs may be affected. This ensures timely and accurate management of design changes and the ability to share live design data with our internal project team.

Procurement Services

Our Procurement Services Department orders, ships and coordinates the delivery and incoming inspection of materials to ensure that the proper products are on hand when needed.

Post Installation Services

We develop inspection/test plans (ITP's) to ensure that construction activities are performed in accordance with our quality management system and our customer's expectations.

Commissioning

Where feasible, we utilize commissioning specialists, independent from the craftspeople who installed the heat management system, to perform commissioning activities. This independent test ensures that each heat management system is tested and commissioned in accordance with Pentair Thermal Management's customer and manufacturer requirements.

Review of Customer Heat Management Systems

We perform independent reviews of existing customer heat management systems to ensure that each HMS is installed in accordance with established procedures, functions properly and operates within design parameters.
